Chapel of the Bells is family owned and operated since 1962. We strive to maintain a reputation of honesty and integrity, therefore we are proud to offer our complete price schedule to you on line.

Unlike most downtown Reno wedding chapels, we are not a storefront design. We are a residential home built in 1940 that has been tastefully renovated with the comfort and ambiance of a true chapel setting. We are a mere 7 to 8 blocks from the main Reno casino area and the last existing WWII era home on West Fourth Street. We are Reno’s “Prettiest Little White Chapel”. We are pleased to be able to offer you our quaint ivory and gold chapel setting with candlelight and soft background music, a small garden gazebo and even a drive thru chapel if you prefer something more whimsical and less conventional.

Reservations are recommended, but not mandatory although we do encourage larger groups to call in advance. Our chapel comfortably seats 20 guests with standing room for a few more, if necessary. Hopefully you will have no more than 30 total including your wedding party but we will work with you to make everyone as comfortable as we can. Reservations can be made by telephone at 800-872-2933 if you are calling from out of town. Whether you are planning your wedding for next month, next week or even today you have found the perfect place.

Contact the chapel directly for current license ID requirements and “New” Marriage License Bureau Hours. Due to the decline in the economy the County has found it necessary to deviate the hours of operation of the Marriage License Bureau. Beginning June 28th, the Marriage License Bureau will be open Monday thru Saturday at 8:00 AM. It will stay open until midnight on Friday & Saturday. Close at 8:00 PM Monday thru Thursday and open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sunday. There may also be closures on holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving. Reduced hours on other federal and state recognized holidays are being anticipated as well. We are currently attempting to work with the County on some alternative options. Please call if you will be arriving outside any of the above mentioned hours for updated information.

You may also be married in the State of Nevada at the age of 16 with parental consent. Call the chapel directly at 800-872-2933 for those details. For those under 18 years of age a parental consent form is required. Download one by clicking here.

When you arrive in Reno please stop by the chapel. At that time one of our chapel representatives will escort you to and from the Marriage License Bureau in one of our newer model full size Cadillac’s. Please be sure you both have your identification with you and know your Social Security numbers. If you do not have a Social Security number by law you must state that as fact. We can also at that time finalize any optional arrangements such as personal flowers, professional photography, unity candles, etc. and will be available to address any questions or concerns you may have. We are here to make things fun, easy, and stress free.
